I've done my best to distill my journey into a one-minute version, but few paths are as straightforward as they seem—no matter how much we wish they were. The twists and turns along the way have shaped my perspective, fueling my excitement for the unknown, the next opportunity, and the next project.
Strategy & Design
Bain & Company
In my current role, I lead work streams, design and execute research plans, develop visionary concepts, conduct in-market testing, and drive brand repositioning. I also facilitate ideation workshops and, most importantly, leverage AI-assisted platforms and storytelling to create impactful solutions.
Environment Design
Gensler
Rather than focusing on traditional architecture projects, I was primarily engaged in strategic planning and concept creation. I also participated in cross-studio and global office collaborations, including spending over three months working in the China office. This experience sparked my passion for integrating strategy and design, setting me on a journey to bridge the two.
Education
Born in China and educated in Singapore, I went on to earn my bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and a master's from Harvard. This journey across continents has shaped my cultural sensitivity and deepened my passion for discovering connections across disciplines.
Where I am headed
I believe that every business challenge deserves a bold, creative design voice. My passion lies in weaving together environment design, product design, and service design into a seamless, holistic experience—one that feels intentional, intuitive, and deeply human. By truly listening to users and understanding their needs in a dynamic way, I connect the dots between different aspects of their journey, ensuring every touchpoint makes sense and adds value. For me, design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about strategy, impact, and creating experiences that resonate with customers in the real world.
